Experience living without compromises is the result of advanced technology and complete harmony with nature. If sustainable mobility is part of the equation, then it is more than an interplay of innovations – it’s a way of life that sets the new standards for the future.
Every trip we plan is intertwined with the search for comfort, personal growth, sustainability, and new experiences. However, this was not a case of mere exploration of a new destination, but rather a test of how love for nature and the latest technology can be combined with the purpose of experiencing living without compromise. When we set out to visit the Lumar Active house in Dragomelj, not far from the Slovenian capital, little did we know that we’d experience living in the future, which would fascinate us completely.
Driving a technologically perfected fully electric car on the roads surrounded by pristine nature was pure pleasure. Not only because of the vehicle’s capacity and silent driving, but also due to the feeling of traveling without compromise when it comes to environmental responsibility. We didn’t experience the drive only as an enjoyment in speed and comfort, but also as a privilege that combines innovation with responsibility. The advanced systems enabling autonomous driving and intelligent assistance systems improve safety and redefine comfort. Luxury is no longer a choice, but a standard.
And just like the advanced electric car, the active house of the TOP Slovenian manufacturer of prefabricated wood constructions proves that it’s possible to live better when combining sustainable solutions and technologies without compromising the environment.

When we saw the house, we were impressed by its simple elegance. When we stepped inside, it was quickly clear that this house stands out not just because of its aesthetic perfection, but also due to its positive impact on people and the environment. The Lumar active house is functional and breathes harmony with the light and natural materials, whereby its smart solutions adjust inconspicuously to the user’s needs. The sun’s rays penetrating through the large windows and fresh air circulating in the rooms generated the feeling of lightness and fluidity, which we usually look for in boutique tourist destinations.
The house observes the Zero Emission Living® concept, ensuring that its operations are based on renewable energy sources. The solar energy that powers the house exceeds its consumption and the excess is returned to the grid. Smart solutions, such as optimal use of daylight, smart ventilation, and energy efficiency, create a space where health and comfort are always at the forefront.
